These cameras have plenty of resolution power. The Pentax K-7 and the 20d have14.6 megapixels to give sharp images. They are weather-sealed so I can keep working no matter what is happening outside. The top shutter speed of 1/8000 of a second freezes even the fastest movements. Pentax gives me creative flexibility no other brand can muster and provides an effective shake resistant system for shooting in lower-light situations.

In a constantly changing environment I carry zoom lenses.

 

My lenses are fast, quiet, and professional grade. Some are weather sealed. They produce great pictures. They allow me to capture your memories so you'll always have them. No matter what the weather is doing!

The Prime Lenses

 

I maintain a selection of prime lenses for extreme quality and extreme situations. Quality photographs start with quality lenses. The first thing to look at is the ƒ-stop. This is the aperture. The smaller the number the more light the lens allows into the camera. A professional level lens should have an ƒ-stop of 2.8ƒ or smaller. This isn't always true in the shortest and longest of lenses, but it is usually true. I try to do at least that well.

 

Lens flare can be a problem, a great lens will be coated to prevent this. The best of the best coatings is made my Pentax. These lenses have the designation SMC.

 

Another thing to look at is the length of a lens. Generally 50mm is considered your average lens. I have the following lenses so that whether I'm needing to take a picture of an entire church sanctuary in very little light, or needing to capture the facial expressions of a young man running as fast as possible to third base, I'm ready.

 

Another question is are the lenses sharp. That's another area where Pentax shines. Perhaps the sharpest lens ever made is the Pentax 31mm limited. The glass is a huge reason I shoot Pentax!

 

The lenses marked DA below are also weather-sealed. What good is a photographer if he has to go inside when it starts to rain?
